Easy CD-DA Extractor, the Swiss Army Knife Of Digital Audio is All-In-One music converter that rips Audio CDs, converts audio files, edits metadata of audio files and burns Audio CDs, MP3 CDs and DVDs, and Data CDs and DVDs. This Unicode-enabled program has three modules which each has its own purpose: Audio CD Ripper includes AccurateCDDA ripping engine for reliable CD ripping. Bypasses audio CD copy-protections, gets metadata automatically from Internet disc databases, supports CD-Text, and includes digital audio processing. Audio Converter converts audio files and edits metadata of audio files. CD/DVD Creator burns and copies CDs and DVDs. Supports CD-Text and long filenames (UDF and ISO/Joliet). Supports all popular audio file formats such as MP3, M4A, WMA, AAC, aacPlus, Apple Lossless, FLAC and many others.
Version 12 includes new CD-player with faster response time, ability to make disc image from CD/DVD/BD discs, and state-of-the-art error detection and support for new metadata properties.

- "CD-ripping utopia"
For ripping audio CDs, burning CDs and DVDs, and converting tracks, Easy CD-DA Extractor excels. Besides rolling in support for Apple Lossless, the latest update focuses on back-end changes that should improve the audio quality and make the program faster.
A well-organized interface displays all of the major features and settings. Four tabs across the top access the Audio CD Ripper, the Audio File Format Converter, Audio CD Creator, and MP3/WMA CD Creator. Ripping CDs is simple: Insert a disc and the Audio CD Ripper window displays info such as artist, track list, year, track length, and album length. The destination folder, the quality and format of output tracks, and even the filename format are all easily edited.
MP3 settings include the ability to choose constant, average, or variable bit rates. The Audio File Format Converter window features a drag-and-drop file selection topped by a conversion-format window. The program supports a large list of lossy and lossless formats including MP3, OGG, WMA, APE, FLAC, AAC, and 3GP. The Audio CD Creator window lets you drop files into that screen, choose the recording speed, and toggle the test feature. The MP3/WMA CD Creator window works similarly and adds much-needed support for data discs.
Easy CD-DA Extractor is easy to learn, quick to use, and loaded with features. It stands tall among the teeming mass of CD-ripping/music-conversion apps.

"You're a doosh if you pay money"
Pros: Yes, it might work, you ignorant people, but you've been misled.
Cons: IT COSTS MONEY. And, beside that, it doesn't do anything for that amount of money. A middle-school kid with a computer, a free copy of Microsoft Visual C++ and a small beginner's guide to programming could write this program.
Summary: There are SOO many free alternatives available across the internet that you should be ashamed of yourself for purchasing anything related to these simple tasks. You can rip, write and convert to, from, and between any media for FREE. Just use some... read more >>

Pros: I've tried free alternatives and I keep coming back to this one. It's the easiest and I like all the configurations.
Cons: I don't think it costs too much, you get unlimited free updates for life.
Summary: This is an excellent application and I am happy to pay for it's continued development. None of the free alternatives come close to its quality and usability.

"The BEST & Only Ripper I use"
Pros: * Easy to use
* Flexible output formats with a high variety of quality settings
* Fast rips/encoding
* Easy to add album art, etc.Cons: LIke every ripper, I wish it had more lossless options
