"Save your time and avoid this product."
Pros: Appeared to work good for a couple of days.
Cons: Does not work with Vista,it has pop up ads.It made my keyboard and touchpad inoperable. This is the 2nd PC Tools product that I have had problems from.I will never install one of their products again.
Summary: How are they going to sell their buy products if the free programs are a scam ?
Luckily I knew to uninstall this adware as soon as I started having problems. Not a good way to gain new customers.Install at your own risk. read more -

"Unable to use, it intereferes with the Registry...."
Pros: Nice layout, looked promising and is fast. But, I can not & will not use it.
Cons: On my Intel Core 2 Quad with Windows XP Pro, I use 2 programs to Defrag my Registry. "NTREGOPT" and Uniblue's "RegistryBooster 2009". "ThreatFire" interferes with the above programs, and I am forced to reinstall from a recent back up.
Summary: Interesting program , that I would try again, if they fix the problem of it's taking control of the Registry read more

"May be great if it's all you have."
Pros: Can't come up with any at this juncture in time!
Cons: Conflicts with many other similar programs you may be using.
Using this by itself maybe it works, but I like Winpatrol better and they don't like each other, that's for sure.Summary: This program has completely locked up my PC twice. The problem was it conflicts with another Spyware, Malware type program I'm using. I'm not saying it won't work for you but it has caused massive problems trying to get it to stop running then just... read more
